Having access to computers since early childhood, I have used many computer mice so far. Logitech products have been a trusty choice for a long time, usually precise, solid and longlived. My wired Logitech G Pro however has a specific hardware flaw that makes the "back" button trigger twice most of the time, which is super annoying, since I use the back and forth thumb buttons a lot. There has been a firmware update released to fix this, but that did not solve it for me. I have tried multiple alternatives in between, including the Razer Mamba, and enjoyed it quite a bit, but like all Razer stuff I have purchased so far it just broke down after a year or two.
In general I'm not really a fan of wireless mouse devices, as they tend to be quite heavy which puts unnecessary strain on the wrist, can suffer from disconnection issues and well, the battery can run dry so you'll often use a cable anyway. So I have been looking for a wired, simple (please don't put 20 buttons on it) mouse and by looking at reviews have found the Endgame Gear XM1r.
The XM1r is very precise, but that is something I have seen in prior devices I have used above as well, so nothing special here. To keep this short, these are the things I really like:
The best mouse I have had so far. We'll see how it looks in a year or two, will update then.
